Priorities
Ensuring the quality of published articles through an effective review and selection apparatus
The journal provides any scientist with the opportunity to publish articles that meet the requirements for the quality of materials and their design. Only relevant articles that contain elements of scientific novelty and have practical significance are accepted for publication. At the same time, a procedure for controlling articles accepted for publication is provided. Its goal is to achieve a high level of interest in printed materials for the world scientific community; to stimulate a responsible attitude of the authors of the publication to the novelty of the presented materials and the objectivity of citation; to ensure that the materials meet the requirements of the scientific style of presentation.
An important element of ensuring the quality of publications is the review procedure, which provides for the confidentiality of manuscripts, an objective and reasoned assessment of materials by the reviewer, and an objective selection of articles for publication. To this end, the journal practices double "blind" review, where authors and reviewers are unaware of each other's information.
Adherence to the principles of publication ethics
The journal strives to support and promote an ethical culture in scholarly publishing in accordance with the recommendations of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and other internationally approved standards of ethical behavior for all participants in the publishing industry (authors, reviewers, editors, publishers, and publishers), as well as the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, defined in the joint statement of COPE, DOAJ, WAME, and OASPA.
An important direction of editorial policy is strict compliance with copyright and related rights (counteraction to plagiarism, falsification and publication of the same work in multiple journals, prevention of misleading information about the real contribution of authors, etc.).
Adherence to open access policy
The journal provides free access to its content to support global knowledge exchange. Under the Budapest Open Access Initiative, users are allowed to read, download, and copy the full texts of articles in the journal without first asking permission from the publisher or author.
Bringing the magazine into the global information space
The journal publishes exclusive articles in Ukrainian, Russian and English (at the author's choice), not intended for publication in other publications. Each article is accompanied by an extended abstract (extended summary) in three languages, containing an aggregated description of the author's main achievements and examples of specific research results covered in the published article.
The editorial board places published articles on the journal's website, and also transmits relevant information for posting on the website of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, and takes measures to promote the journal to international databases SCOPUS, Web of Science, and others.
Scientific, organizational and scientific-methodological support of activities
The scientific, organizational and scientific-methodological support of the journal's activities is provided by the editorial board, the composition of which is approved by the publisher's academic council.
The editorial board includes leading domestic and foreign scientists working in the fields of pharmacology, medicinal toxicology, pharmacy and related sciences. The editorial board is headed by the editor-in-chief of the journal.
The editorial board forms the editorial policy of the journal, monitors the implementation of its priorities, and the publication's compliance with current legislative requirements.
