Article Processing Charge is a financial contribution that authors pay to a journal for publishing their article in Open Access to provide free access to a wide range of readers and ensure its visibility and citation.
The processing and publication fee is used to cover the costs of reviewing, editing, technical design, printing, digital identification (DOI), and hosting.
The authors pay for the processing of the article after successful review and receipt of confirmation from the editorial office about the acceptance of the article for publication.
- Amount and form of payment
Payment is calculated for the number of pages in the final layout after editorial processing. Payment is made in Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH) exclusively in non-cash form and amounts to 450 UAH per page in the final layout.
- Procedure for registration and payment
3.1. The editorial office sends the author (representative of the author's team) a payment agreement by e-mail.
3.2. The author prints the contract in two copies, fills in, signs and sends the paper copies to the editorial office.
3.3. After receiving the contract, the editorial office sends an invoice to the author.
3.4. The author makes payment through a banking institution (cashless) and sends a copy of the receipt to the editorial office.
3.5. After the funds are credited, the editorial office sends the author a signed copy of the contract and a certificate of work performed (by email).
- Exemption from payment
Individual articles by PhD degree seekers are exempt from payment.
As an exception, in order to attract publications from leading domestic or international scientists, the editorial board may make a separate decision to publish a certain article without payment. The editorial board will notify the authors of such a decision.
